Deep in the bowels of the station at the basement of KCBC Tower lurked a number of very talented individuals who kept out of the limelight. Everyone from sales staff (who came up with classic slogans like “Wittering West they’re the best, the best Wittering West”) to Rod the brilliant engineer who held the station together with nothing more than a box of paper clips and a ball of elastic bands. Volunteers who answered the phones and manned the roadshows and Bob from the RAC who made sure the kettle never went cold. Here are just a few of the unsung heros.....
